Quality assurance of our tools is made by certification, already in the manufacturing process of the crimping tools.

All Elpress hydraulic and mechanical crimping tools are calibrated and controlled at final assembly. These controls result in a unique tool certificate that is directly linked to the tool’s serial number. The certificate shows that each individual tool meets the requirements of the tool’s basic specific tones.

A control means, among other things, the following:

  • General inspection of the tool
  • Function test
  • A certificate is issued after the equipment has complied with calibration requirements

        The terminals for Cu conductors 0.75 mm² to 1000 mm² are made of copper 99.9%
        AlCu terminals
        Elpress AlCu terminals for Al conductors are made of solid material.
        Al terminals

        Elpress has a programme for overhead line joints that comprises products for copper lines, alloyed aluminium lines of type AlMgSi (Super B) and Al59 and FeAl lines.
        Shearbolt connectors
        Shearbolt connectors are intended for stranded and solid aluminium and copper cable, low voltage and medium voltage up to 36 kV.
